5:2 Intermittent Fasting Week 2 Fast Day 2

Today was not easy. Not at all. From morning through until now, I’ve had to really concentrate and try to be strong. I have done it though and that really makes me proud of myself.
Work was slow and this really didn’t help. It started off manically then went to nothing. I was hoping for another busy day but no, it was not to be.

Today’s menu

For breakfast – a boiled egg and cup of green tea.
For lunch – a tin of Heinz Chicken Noodle soup.
For dinner – turkey stir fry.
For snacks – celery and cucumber.

I did treat myself this evening. I hasten to add that it was within my calorie limit.

Tomorrow morning I weigh in for the second time since I started this. I’ll update you with my progress, I’m hoping that I at least match last weeks 1lb.

I get to eat properly tomorrow which is what keeps me going through the day. Me and my fiancée are going to the theatre and out for dinner so I think a little treat is in order.

 

UPDATE!

I weighed in this morning and I have lost 4lbs this week!! I’m so happy. I’m back down to 210 lbs (15 st). My goal is only 25 lbs away!
